                                        “Farm Life” in Sunshine





                       「埤塘」具防洪、灌溉、調節氣候等功能，隨曹公圳的完工，似是生命線般

                       地連結讓龜裂的大地有了新活力。而當農村變成都市，這片土地的山水記憶，
                       更成為引線串起生活軌跡，供後人追尋過往的印記。

                       Niaosong and Renwu were once the main rice producing areas in Kaohsiung; the rice was of
                       good quality and many varieties. Apart from rice, people in Renwu grew water caltrops by
                       taking advantage of the characteristics of paddy fields. At the same time, locals in Niasong grew
                       pineapples by taking advantage of the hilly terrain with high permeability. Due to changes in the
                       industrial structure, Renwu has established brands of tomatoes and sponge gourds, while Niaosong
                       has gone through transformation and focused on eco-friendly farming to restore the harmony
                       between people and the land.
