今日的大寮，是多元族群融合的區域，較具特色者有：

1. 拷潭、內坑：簡氏宗族早期發跡地。
2. 義仁、昭明：二里早年稱為赤崁，武舉人張簡魁故居即在此處。
3. 山頂：閩式傳統建築「陳家大厝」位在此處。
4. 前庄、中庄、後庄：圳道與車站的所在。
5. 三隆：張簡氏聚集的大本營。

6. 會社：昔日製糖工業重鎮。
7. 中興：眷村住民與閩南族群混居融合地帶。
8. 忠義、光武、復興：眷村社區。

9. 潮寮：客家聚落與大發工業區所在。

Today, Daliao is a region with a diverse group of people. Some of the more special regions
include:
1. Kaotan, Neikeng: the land from which the Jian clan prospered.

2. Yiren, Zouming: known as Tchikun back in the days. Former residence of provincial level
knight, Zhang Jien Kway.
3. Sanding: Traditional Minnan-styled architecture “Chen Old House” is situated here.
4. Qianzhuang, Zhongzhuang and Hozhuang: the location of Chuan Road and train station.

5. Sanlong: the biggest gathering site of Zhang-Jien clan.
6. Hueishe: the major town of the past sugar manufacturing industry.
7. Zhongshing: the area where veterans from the military dependents’ village and the
Minnan group interacted and mingled.

8. Zhongyi, Guangwu, Fuxing: community of military dependents’ village.
9. Chouliao: the location of the Hakka tribe and Dafah Industrial Area.
