阿蓮姐與田寮哥的奇異旅程
Beloved places exist in all our hearts. ey may not be the most prosperous
or the most beautiful but despite the passage of time, they remain as lovely as
one remembers them. Alian and Tianliao are such places. People who were
born in those places feel connected to the land, and many of those who by
chance travel through decide to set down their roots.
Alian District and Tianliao District border the Erren River to the North,
Wu Mountain and Qishan District to the East, and the Agongdian Reservoir
to the South. The two districts are separated by Dagang Mountain. Plains
aborigines once lived here, but during the Dutch occupation of the island,
the Chinese began to move across the strait in large numbers; by the Qing
Dynasty, there were many Chinese settlements. The Erren River, whose
source is in the Neimen District, winds its way through Tianliao—which
is characterized by rugged and barren hills and numerous gullies—and
then ows into Alian with its sandbanks and swamps. is exhibition will
showcase the natural landscape of the two districts and show visitors the love
locals have for their hometown.
